Hon Desmond Elliott ‘Quit’ Nollywood For Politics, He Won’t Be Acting In The Next 4 Years.Nollywood actor cum politician, Desmond Elliott has announced his plan to quit Nollywood temporarily to take care of the people in his Constituency. The Lagos State House of Assembly member told NET recently that he won’t be making movies in the next 4 years.

“There is nothing acting in all I do now, it’s the job as a legislator and doing work to ensure that there is a better structure in the industry.“
He however promised to use his position to better serve Nollywood. When asked how he planned to carry out his plan, Desmond Elliott simply said “Just wait and see”
The talented actor is representing Surulere Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly. He got into politics under the APC platform.
