President Robert Mugabe has lavished his sister-in-law with $60,000 on her 60th birthday anniversary, state-owned media on Monday announced.

This is coming at a time when the country is running critically short of cash.

According to The Herald newspaper Mugabe, 93, and his wife Grace gave Junior Gumbochuma the money at her birthday celebrations, while the couple's children gave her $10 000.

"The gift was to thank Mrs Gumbochuma, a pastor, for the pivotal role she played in raising the First Family's children," the newspaper said.

Gumbochuma, who is Grace Mugabe's elder sister, celebrated her 60th birthday on Sunday as Grace celebrated her 52nd at one of the Mugabes' farms in Shamva, northeast of Harare.

Nigeria: See Names of the 6 PDP Governors Presidency Picked to Have Lunch With Buhari in London

The presidency has scheduled a visit between six governors elected under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and President Muhammadu Buhari in London today, Punch reports.

This is coming after an unannounced visit by APC governors a couple of days ago.

The visit is believed to have been organized by the office of the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Munguno (retd.).

Here are identities of the governors to visit the president:

  • Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom)
  • Dave Umahi (Ebonyi)
  • Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara)
  • Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo).

The others aren't known. Yet.

One of the governors expressed sadness that some of his colleagues weren't picked by the presidency.

“Our colleagues are going to London to see the President. But I’m not happy that someone like the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, or his Rivers State counterpart, Mr. Nyesom Wike, is not on the delegation", he said.

The governors will have lunch with the president before returning to Nigeria like their APC counterparts.
Psychologist Explains Why So Many Black Kids Are “Turning Gay”

Psychologist Explains Why So Many Black Kids Are “Turning Gay”

It’s not a new video. It was actually recorded and posted on YouTube back in April 2013. But the video has resurfaced and is going viral again. Some love it, some hate it. In the video, Dr. Umar Abdullah Johnson, a nationally certified psychologist and child therapist, explains why so many Black kids are turning gay.

During his discussion, Abdullah Johnson says that mothers actually “psychologically castrate” their sons and then wonder why they turn gay later on.
He also presents concerns and solutions towards ending ‘Fatherlessness’ and ‘Motherlessness’ – problems that affect communities of people of African descent. This is a focused section from a longer video in which the presenter deals with problems affecting children of African descent in American schools as well as he does questions and answers towards the information he presents.

Meet Man Who Looks Just Exactly Like Barack Obama, Says He is Constantly Being Mistaken as the Ex-U.S. President [Video]

Meet Man Who Looks Just Exactly Like Barack Obama, Says He is Constantly Being Mistaken as the Ex-U.S. President [Video]

People always say everyone has a twin somewhere who looks just exactly like them, and that may just be true.

This man who goes by the name Jose Oliveira, looking just exactly like former U.S. President Barack Obama, says he can’t leave his house without people thinking that he’s Barack Obama. He says he is bombarded all the time with selfie requests.

Jose Oliveira, Barack Obama Look Alike

Jose, who is 43-years old, has five children and lives in Sal, Cape Verde (an island off the coast of West Africa) where he works as a tour guide. He says that he has been dubbed “Mr. Obama” by his friends and family, and when he is wearing sunglasses, he will surely get stares and eventual photo requests from complete strangers. “Some people even ask me if I am his brother,” he adds.
“As soon as they see me they say: ‘Oh my God, you look just like Obama!'” Oliveira says. “I find it very funny, and I don’t mind posing for photographs with people. I have at least 15 photographs and selfies taken every day.”
Jose has never met President Obama, but when asked if he would ever consider a job as an Obama look-a-like, he said he would be very interested. He replied, “I have never thought about working as an Obama lookalike before, but maybe I would if given the opportunity. If it was an honest and respectful job that allowed me to support my family, I would think about it.”
So, who knows? We might see him in an upcoming film or documentary about the life and presidency of Obama.

Charly Boy tells Igbos: Biafra is Just a Waste of Time, Find Something Better To Do

Charly Boy tells Igbos: Biafra is Just a Waste of Time, Find Something Better To Do

Nigerian self-acclaimed social rights activist Charly Boy in an interview published by the Sun has advised Igbos to devote their time to other productive ventures instead f agitating for Biafra.

Here are his words:

"Unfortunately, the dreams of nationhood is lost on the altar of deception, and my Igbo brothers must be circumspect on the fact and history, and not be hoodwinked into some insane propaganda that will only lead to more wahala.

"So, instead of Biafra, we should channel our energies and abilities towards developing the South-east to become the economic hub of Nigeria. Igbo nation and my people are great but for us to move forward we must kill our individualistic tendencies and come together to do great things.

"The fall of Biafra after the genocide, starvation, and immense suffering of my people should teach us something. I believe the failure of the Igbo nation is the fault of the people, her so-called elites and decision-makers. Why have we not poured our energy, capacity and ability into making the South-east the Dubai of the nation as well as the engine room of the Nigerian economy? Who would be our leaders when the South-east is infested with political power-grabbers, 419ers, mindless criminals and looters of our commonwealth and resources? Need I mention names?

"Our problem is the lack of men of integrity and a progressive mindset. We lack the right kind of leadership that will fight for the interest of the people. Let it be clear to all that the sufferings and poverty of the people of the South-east are also the sufferings and poverty of the peoples of the other geopolitical zones in Nigeria, including my northern brothers. Even the nascent anti-corruption fight in the country has seen all tribe accordingly represented. It is therefore retrospectively insane to begin to think that a people with a problem would suddenly be relieved when they are attached with a tag #BIAFRA; Abegi.

Therefore, I insist that our mumu don do because the failure of leadership is evident in our agitation for fairness, justice and equality for every Nigerian not just for every Igbo man. And so the mind of the typical Igbo leader needs a revolution so that it can be realigned for the interest of the people rather than the interest of a few.

5 Catchy Things Observed About Tiwa Savage’s Interview On Marriage Crisis With TeeBillz

5 Catchy Things Observed About Tiwa Savage’s Interview On Marriage Crisis With TeeBillz

Everyone thought the marriage breakup between Tiwa and Teebillz were just rumours until Tiwa brought  a journalist into her home and spilled all the beans. Did Tiwa say far too much? was she trying too hard to get the sympathy of the public? or was she really just being herself?
Here are the five things noticed during the interview below:
1.Scarf and minimal make up: Just like in the Nollywood movies Tiwa Savage tied a scarf and work pretty much no makeup, just to show how depressed she is or wants us to believe. Was that really necessary?
2.Interviewer: Was she there to make worse an already bad situation? . She felt like she wasn’t ready for the interview, no empathy almost like she was bored of the whole thing.
3.Interview: Did Tiwa really invite the media into the privacy of her own home just so she could tell us all the dirty stuff about her marriage? or she just thought it was our right to know?It felt like she was looking for public sympathy.
4.Huge nails: Tiwa’s nails were really long and recall her husband said she doesn’t cook for him and thanked their neighbours for always bringing him, home cooked meals. So with nails like that, we are forced to think Teebillz might have spoken the truth.
5.Better singer than public speaker: Tiwa is such a talented artiste but the interview felt like it was aimed at making Tiwa the saint and rubbing mud all over Teebillz but she said a lot forgetting that the child which she said she is focusing on, would on day grew up to read these sad stuff she spilled.
What do you think guys???
