Things You Need to Know About Nigeria's New Head of Service 'Winnifred Oyo-Ita'

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday appointed Winifred Oyo-Ita as the new Head of Service of the federation following the removal of Danladi Kifasi.

  • She hails from Adiabo of Odukpani LGA in Cross River State
  • She is 51 year old- she was born on the 20th of April, 1964
  • She attended Queen’s College Yaba, Lagos from 1974 to 1979
  • She got her B.Sc at the University of Lagos in 1984
  • She achieved her M.Sc at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi
  • She is currently the permanent secretary of the ministry of science and technology.
  • She was the Director of Finance and Accounts atOffice of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation
  • She is also a fellow of theInstitute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria
