Ex-NSA 'Sambo Dasuki' Whisked Away by DSS Operatives

Former national security adviser (NSA), Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd) has been arrested by operatives of the Directorate of State Service (DSS) in his private residence at Asokoro, Abuja yesterday.

The DSS had laid siege on his residences yesternight.
The DSS operatives later in the night whisked away the former NSA to one of their facilities in Abuja for interrogation.

A security official confirmed the arrest but no reason was given.



The DSS is yet to utter an official statement on the issue.

Reports say former spokesman of the service, Marilyn Ogar, had been removed as spokesman, and no replacement has been announced.
